Which plans renew
The monthly, six-month and yearly plans renew at the end of each period until you stop them. A lifetime licence is paid once and never renews, so there is nothing to cancel. The free trial creates no subscription and takes no card: when it ends, it simply stops.
Stopping the renewal
Your payment is handled by our payment provider. If the receipt email you received after purchase has a link to manage your subscription, use it: it opens a page where you can cancel the renewal or change the card. Stopping it is something you do yourself; nothing has to be requested from us first.
If there is no such link, or you cannot find the receipt, write to us with the email address you paid from and we will cancel it for you. Say whether it should end now or at the end of the period.
Keeping the days you paid for
A cancellation ends your access at the moment it takes effect with the payment provider. So the choice that matters is when it takes effect:
- At the end of the current period. Cancelling then stops the next charge and nothing else. Cancel a monthly plan on day 8 and you keep the remaining 22 days.
- Immediately. Access ends at once, and the unused days are not refunded.
If you want the rest of the period, choose the end of it. Until the cancellation takes effect, nothing changes in w0a.
When the subscription ends
When the cancellation takes effect, the payment provider tells our server and the key is closed. w0a hears it within moments if it is running and online; otherwise at its next licence check. A renewal payment that keeps failing ends the same way: the provider retries the charge for a while, then cancels. The paid pages stay open only until the end of the period already paid for.
Then w0a switches to the free version by itself:
- A message says your licence has expired or your subscription has ended. If a game is running full screen at that moment, the message waits until you leave the game, so it never pulls you out of a match. A notification from the tray icon appears instead.
- The background engines on the paid pages stop, and so do the CPU rules on the Process Manager page.
- If a graphics card profile was set to apply at startup, the card goes back to its stock settings and that switch turns off. A fan curve left on manual is handed back to the driver.
- The key is removed from w0a, because it will not work again. Buying again later comes with a new key, entered the usual way.
Apart from the graphics card, nothing w0a applied with a paid page is reverted on its own. Registry changes and the other settings it wrote stay as they were. Undoing them is free, through the Backups page, and stays free after the subscription ends: Undoing what w0a changed.

Cancelling is not a refund
They are two different things. Cancelling stops future charges; a refund returns money already taken. What can be refunded and what cannot is set out on the Refund Policy page, and it is worth reading before buying rather than after.
A charge you did not expect
If you were charged after cancelling, or charged an amount you did not expect, write to us with the date and amount. Include the email you paid from. We can see the transaction from that alone.
Before you write, check the date. A cancellation made after a renewal went through stops the next one, not the one already taken.
