w0a is a Windows and CS2 game optimizer: 80+ reversible optimizations. It injects no code into your games and reads none of their memory, has no driver of its own, and every registry and power-plan change reverts in one click.
These settings are not zero-riskAn aggressive offset can crash a game or reset the driver.Clock, memory, voltage and fan settings reset when you restart the PC — but only while apply at startup is unticked. Reset to Default always works, and an apply that is interrupted puts the card back to stock on the next start.

Tuning is not available on every card. The details and live readings above are correct on AMD and Intel too, but changing clocks, voltage or fans needs the vendor’s own driver interface — where it is missing the sliders are left off rather than risking wrong values being written.
Stop idle downclocking
Driver power stateOff — driver downclocks when idle
The card drops its clocks to a few hundred MHz when idle, and ramping back up costs a moment when a game starts. This tells the driver to hold clocks high at all times; the cost is a higher idle temperature and a fan that may run a little more. It is written into the driver’s own database, so it survives a restart — Revert hands the behaviour back to the driver.
MANUAL TUNING
Drag a slider, or click its number and type one. Anything outside what your card allows is pulled back to the nearest value it accepts.
Power limit112%
Core offset+165 MHz
Memory offset+1500 MHz
⚠ High memory offset: if games stutter intermittently, suspect this value first — try half. GDDR at the edge does not crash; its error correction is felt as stutter.
Core voltage26%
This raises the voltage ceiling, which gives a high core offset more room but also more heat. To use less voltage, lower the power limit instead — your driver does not expose a way to set voltage downwards directly.
Fan Control
ModeCustom curve (by temperature)
Set a fan percentage for each temperature — type it or use the buttons. Values in between are interpolated, and for safety it never goes below 30%. The curve keeps running while the app is open, not only while this page is on screen.

Profiles
Click one to load it; Save stores what is on screen, Apply sends it to the card.
The highlighted slot is the one on screen, not the one that is armed: whenever the two differ the status line names the profile the next start applies.
NVIDIA driver profile (cs2.exe)
Pins the settings below into the cs2.exe driver profile; they hold regardless of the game’s own video settings and take effect the next time the game starts. The list is built for this machine — any setting not written says why underneath. Revert deletes only what w0a wrote.
Vertical syncForced off
Power management modePrefer maximum performance
Pre-render limit skipped: Reflex is on in the game and already manages the frame queue.
The answer only matters while in-game VSync is on: with VRR, forcing VSync off in the driver is the correct combination; without VRR, a VSync you turned on on purpose is left alone.
Driver profileApplied ✓
A driver update can drop one setting and leave the rest, so partly applied is its own answer: the status then reads Partly applied (2/3) and pressing Apply completes it.
AUTO TUNE
It loads the card itself — you do not need a game open. Every step is read back from the driver; the search stops if the card gets hot, the driver resets or the card starts computing wrong results.
Leaves clock offsets alone: finds the lowest power limit that holds the card’s speed. Same performance, less heat and noise.
Nothing is kept silently: 15 seconds to choose Keep or Revert — no answer reverts automatically. A run that resets the driver never counts as completed. Overclock is a separate, opt-in mode.
The values were sent to the card. If you can still see the screen, press Keep — without a confirmation the card goes back to the values it had before Apply and nothing is written to the profile.Auto-undo in 15 s
Readings work on every card; tuning is NVIDIA-only so far.

GOODMemory profile is on — 6000 MT/sThe modules are running at the speed on their label. Nothing to do.
GOOD2 modules across 2 channels — correct layoutThe modules are on separate channels, so the full memory bandwidth is available.
NOTICETrue latency 10.0 ns (CL30 @ 6000 MT/s)CL cannot be compared on its own — it has to be divided by the speed. Nanoseconds is the comparable number: under 9.5 ns is very good, over 12 ns is weak.
Bandwidth Test
A few seconds of copy measurement. Shows with a number that the profile is really working.
Not measured while a game runs — it saturates the memory bus.
DRAM Temperature
Read from each module’s own on-board sensor. Above 50 °C is normal on high-speed kits; if it approaches 85 °C, look at your case airflow.
The dimmed rows are registers your configuration never uses: SD is the second rank of one module, DD a second module. The controller keeps a value in them regardless, and changing it does nothing here.
w0a only reads the controller, it never writes to one.
FCLK and UCLK are not here: those two clocks live in the processor’s power table rather than in the controller registers, and reading it means writing a command to the SMU.
Values are read live from the memory controller’s own registers; Windows exposes none of this.
EXPO and hand-set timings cannot be told apart here.
Without the PawnIO driver none of this can be read, because Windows exposes no interface for it. The page then says so, shows what the modules report about themselves, and offers to install the signed driver.
Detailed timings are AMD-only for now. The speed and profile state above are accurate on Intel too; the timing registers differ per Intel CPU generation and could not be verified on real hardware, so nothing is shown rather than something wrong.
Process Manager
Game ModeOne switch. On: the full-screen game's priority is raised, high-CPU background processes are held back under load, and the machine moves to the w0amax power plan. On a fresh install every engine ships off — this switch is how you turn them on.On — 7 of 7 parts running.
ADVANCED ▾
Auto PriorityRaises the priority of the full-screen game you are playing, and with it up to three of its own helper processes that are actually working — shader compiler, asset streamer, audio — because the render thread waits on them. Ordinary windows are left alone.
On · with Game Mode
Balance ModeUnder load, temporarily slows high-CPU background processes. Also moves ones that keep the disk busy back in its queue.
PART OF BALANCE MODEEfficiency Mode (harder restraint)When balance mode slows a process down, also ask Windows to move it to efficiency cores. More effective but heavier-handed — you may feel a short delay when you go back to that program. With this off, only the priority is lowered.
Reserved Cores18 background processes are currently steered off the game's cores. All of them are handed back when the game closes.
Game BoostWhile a full-screen game runs, the game's memory is pinned resident (a memory floor) and the game gets the raised GPU scheduling class. The memory floor is skipped on machines under 16 GB; a game whose anti-cheat refuses is never touched again. Both end on their own when the game closes.
Indexer HoldWhile a game runs, the Windows Search indexer is dropped to the lowest priority; search keeps working, its work just waits until the game ends. Its old priority comes back when the game closes.
Sleep GuardWhile a game runs, the machine is kept from sleeping and the display from turning off. The power plan is untouched; the request ends with the game and cannot survive even a crash.
w0amax Power PlanSwitches Windows onto the w0amax plan: no core parking, no frequency drop. Shortens battery life on a laptop. Your own plan comes back when you turn it off.
Programs to leave alonePrograms balance mode and reserved cores must never slow down. Type the program name (e.g. obs64) and press Add. Already protected: system, security, anti-cheat, capture, voice chat and game launchers.

Measures known public DNS servers by live latency and ranks them fastest to slowest. Switch to any of them with one click.
DNS latency does not change your in-match ping — it only affects name lookups: the first connection to a server, the browser, the start of a download.
The DNS you pick is written to the interface and stays there when you change networks. To undo it completely: Repair > Internet connection and DNS. On a hotel, airport or campus network the sign-in page may not appear until DNS is set back to automatic.

Launch Options
CS2
Edit CS2 launch options and write an autoexec.cfg. Steam keeps launch options until you delete them, and CS2 never says which ones it ignored - so the box is read back to you below, option by option.
Steam is runningFully close Steam before saving launch options.
CURRENT LAUNCH OPTIONS
What Steam currently passes to CS2. Edit it directly; what w0a itself writes here is backed up first and the Fix page can put the original list back.
-novid -insecure -vulkan -autoconfig
WHAT IS IN THE BOX
Read from the box above, option by option. Valve publishes no launch-option list for Counter-Strike 2 - the Steam page everyone quotes covers GoldSrc and Source 1 and predates the game by two years - so nothing here is called Valve-supported. What is listed is what was checked against a current install.
-noviddoes nothing in CS2
-insecureblocks matchmaking
-vulkanswitches to the Vulkan renderer
-autoconfignot one this page knows
CS2 says nothing about an option it does not recognise: no warning, no console line, no log entry. An option doing nothing looks exactly like an option working.
CREATE AUTOEXEC.CFG
Performance commands that run every time the game starts. Written to the cfg folder as autoexec.cfg.
CS2's own default is fps_max 400, and the value set here is persisted into the game's saved settings (cs2_machine_convars.vcfg) — the choice outlives the autoexec itself. If your GPU runs at 95%+ load, a cap slightly above your monitor's refresh rate measurably lowers input latency; 0 (uncapped) only makes sense on CPU-bound systems. Untick and write the file again to restore the game's default (400).
YOUR OWN COMMANDS
Lines you write here are appended to autoexec.cfg exactly as typed. Crosshair, viewmodel, volume, key binds — whatever you want. One command per line. For example: bind "c" "+jumpthrow" · cl_crosshairsize 2 · volume 0.4
cl_crosshairsize 2
volume 0.4
bind c say nice shot
⚠ Unquoted bind: a command of more than one word has to be in quotes, or the game drops everything after the first word.
NVIDIA Reflex
CS2 supports Reflex in-game: Settings > Video > NVIDIA Reflex. NVIDIA says it cuts input latency substantially; some players report frame-time instability on the Boost tier, and tournaments leave the choice to the player. So do we: start with 'Enabled', switch it off if you see stutter. While Reflex is on it manages the driver's pre-render limit itself.
Current options loaded.
Before / After Benchmark
Measures the real frame times in your game. Take one capture before optimising and one after, and it shows you the difference as a number.
CAPTURE
Open your game, pick it below, then press start and play normally for at least 1–2 minutes before coming back and stopping. Picking the game keeps a browser or another window from being measured instead. The capture injects nothing into the game, draws no overlay and never reads the game's memory — it counts frames from Windows' own event stream.

Stutter Detective
Scans the known stutter sources by evidence: shader cache, memory OC, packet filters, driver resets, heat, memory pressure. Scanning changes nothing.
Last scan: 14:32
PROVENBenchmark measured stutter: cs2.exe — 1.7 per minuteIn the saved run (18.08.2026 15:22) frames measured clearly slower than the frames around them. The other cards on this page are possible causes; this card is the stutter itself.
LIKELY2 GPU driver reset(s) in the last 24 hours (Event 4101)Windows recorded the display driver hanging and being reset. Mid-game that is a multi-second freeze; the trail usually points at the overclock or the cooling — not at software.
LIKELYA driver held the processor for 1.6 ms: nvlddmkm.sys (NVIDIA display driver)While a driver is inside an interrupt or a deferred call, that core draws nothing and reads no input — it runs above every thread priority there is. Over 1 ms costs a mouse report, or most of a frame at 240 Hz. It appears in neither Task Manager nor a frame-time graph. The Latency Test page lists every driver; the fix is almost always to update that one.
CANDIDATEDisplay 1 is running at 144 Hz although it supports 240 HzAt 144 Hz every frame waits at least 6.9 ms on the panel, fixing a ceiling on frame pacing that the hardware does not require. One button on the Home page moves every attached display to its maximum. If you lowered it deliberately for 10-bit colour, for cable bandwidth or to avoid VRR flicker, leave it.
CANDIDATENVIDIA shader cache was cleared recentlyThe game recompiles the deleted cache as you play — stutter in the first ~60 minutes is normal and fades on its own. Don't benchmark until that window passes.
CANDIDATENetwork packet-filter driver found: WinDivertDPI-bypass and traffic-shaping tools pass every packet through a filter driver; multi-second network hitches are their best-known side effect. Try turning it off while gaming.
CANDIDATEA Bluetooth mouse or keyboard is in useBluetooth adds a fixed 7–12 ms of transport delay per input that no setting can remove — the largest single input-latency source this scan knows. A wired or 2.4 GHz dongle connection is 1 ms. If your main mouse is Bluetooth, switching it is worth more than every registry tweak combined.
CANDIDATEMemory integrity (VBS/HVCI) is onThe kernel runs under a hypervisor: a few per cent of CPU throughput and added jitter on the frame path. This is a security feature — turning it off is your call, w0a never touches it.
NOT CHECKED3 of 48 rules could not runThe causes those rules look at were NOT CHECKED — this scan does not mean they are clean. 3 rule(s) were skipped to avoid polling hardware while a game is on screen; scan again with the game closed.
Latency Test

This is a floor, not a total. The game's own input sampling, its render queue, the GPU's work and the panel's response time are not in it — none of them can be measured from this machine. Tools that print a single “input lag: X ms” figure are estimating those parts.

Two runs on an untouched machine differ by a few per cent, because a hand moves differently each time. A change under 5% is reported as no change rather than as an improvement.
HOW TO MAKE THIS SMALLER
Everything below came out of this measurement, not out of a general checklist. Ordered so the top one is worth the most.
nvlddmkm.sys held the processor for 1.62 msWhile this driver (NVIDIA display driver) is inside a deferred call, that core draws nothing and reads no input. Update the display driver from the vendor's own site; the Driver Updates page compares the version. If this started after a driver update, roll back to the previous one.
0.7% of reports arrived far too lateA report waiting more than three times the median is the link losing a packet, not the machine being busy. On a wireless mouse, move the receiver to a front port close to the mouse; on a wired one, try a port on the board instead of a hub. The USB Ports page marks the ports with no hub in the way.
The display runs at 144 Hz and supports 240 HzOne setting takes an average of 1.39 ms off the wait and costs nothing. The button on the Home page does it in one click.
Netwtw10.sys held the processor for 0.94 msWhile this driver (Netwtw10.sys) is inside a deferred call, that core draws nothing and reads no input. The wireless driver is the most common entry on this list. Install the vendor's own driver (Intel/Realtek/MediaTek) rather than the generic one Windows Update supplies. Switching to a cable while playing removes this line entirely.

REPORT INTERVAL SPREAD
Each bar is a slice of interval, measured against the device's own median. The red bar on the right is reports that did not arrive on time — a single stability percentage hides that, because a steady 500 Hz and a 1000 Hz with occasional 4 ms gaps can score the same.
This device shares a USB controller with: Arctis Nova Pro, Elgato Wave:3. They all draw on the same bandwidth and the same interrupt line. Moving your mouse to a connector in another group — usually the other block on the back panel — makes a measurable difference on most machines.

Log Cleaner
37 CATEGORIES
Clears accessible Windows log and cache locations. What each option deletes is explained below it.
Deletion is permanentDeleted logs and caches cannot be recovered. Requires running as administrator.
Shader caches rebuild as you playCleared shader caches: ~60 min of stutter; benchmark later.
NEVER AUTO-SELECTED · Select All leaves the memory dump and the four irreversible categories untouched; each of those has to be its own deliberate tick.
⚠ IRREVERSIBLE: once deleted, the road back to the previous build closes even while Windows.old still exists.
⚠ IRREVERSIBLE: diagnostic and security history is erased. A copy of the main logs is saved first.
⚠ IRREVERSIBLE: updates cleaned by this pass can no longer be uninstalled.
⚠ IRREVERSIBLE: once deleted you cannot roll back to the previous Windows version.
Empty until a cleanup runs — every category writes its own line here.

FPS Boost
Tangible frame gains through CPU prioritization, GPU scheduling, power plan and memory optimizations.

No Code Injected Into Games
It injects no code into game processes and reads none of their memory. What it changes on your system are Windows settings and standard driver calls; the only game files it writes are the CS2 config and Steam launch options you ask for on the Launch Options page, and it backs those up first.
One-Click Revert
Every registry and power-plan change is backed up. Don't like it? Restore instantly.
Network & Ping Tuning
Turn off delayed ACKs, lift network throttling and mark game traffic for priority — a steadier, lower ping. How much it helps depends on your connection and your route to the server.
w0a makes no empty "10x FPS" promises. It runs no code of its own at kernel level. What it changes are standard Windows settings — documented, backed up, reversible — plus the CS2 config and launch options you ask for, which are backed up before they are written.
Before the first change of each session, w0a offers to create a system restore point — you decide whether it is made.
No kernel code of its ownNo driver of its own, no injection into games. An optional signed PawnIO driver for temperature and RAM readings installs only with your approval.
Tweaks are reversibleUndo every registry and power-plan tweak with a single click. Graphics-card clock, voltage and fan settings are kept as profiles you reset separately — and an auto-tune run that sees a driver reset reverts itself. Deletions — uninstalling apps, clearing logs — are permanent, and the app says so before it deletes anything.
Restore point offeredOffered once per session, before the first change.
TransparentYou see exactly what each setting does.
The Fix page: one repair card per thing that can be changed, each restoring the Windows default.

Taxes, if any, are shown at checkout. Every paid plan has the full 80+ optimizations — only duration and perks differ. Term plans renew automatically; turn renewal off any time and it runs to your period's end. The lifetime plan is one-time. Your withdrawal right ends only once you consent at checkout to immediate delivery and accept that you lose it. From the age of 16; under 18 needs a guardian's consent and purchase: Refund Policy · Terms of Service.
Download and run it right away — it opens without a key. Monitoring, the FPS benchmark, the DNS and ping tests, driver and system updates, and every tool — startup manager, uninstaller, log cleaning, backups, repair — work in the free version. A plan unlocks the pages that change your system: tweaks, network priority, game optimisation, the process manager, power plans, graphics card tuning, RAM timings, the stutter analysis, USB ports and the latency tools.
The Benchmark page: average FPS, 1% low and stutters per minute, each shown as a before/after pair.
Only Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) are supported; it will not run on older Windows versions. No installer — download, right-click "Run as administrator", enter your key. Download only from this site and compare the SHA-256 digest below; if Windows SmartScreen appears on first run and you downloaded from here: "More info" → "Run anyway". You must be at least 16 years old to use w0a; if you are under 18, only with your parent's or guardian's consent.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Is it w0a or woa? Which spelling is right?
The name is w0a with a zero, not the letter o. It is pronounced the same as "woa", and people write it both ways — w0a, woa, w0a app, w0a fps. They all mean this application. The site lives at w0a.app; w0a.org and w0a.io are ours too and simply redirect here.
Is this safe? Will I get banned?
w0a injects no code into game processes and reads none of their memory — none of the behaviour anti-cheat systems look for. The changes it makes to your system are standard Windows settings, registry values and ordinary graphics-driver calls. The only game files it writes are the CS2 config and the Steam launch options you ask for on the Launch Options page, and it backs both up before writing. Every registry and power-plan change is recorded and reverts in one click; graphics-card clock, voltage and fan settings are stored as profiles you reset separately. It has no driver of its own; only to read CPU temperature and RAM timings, and only if you choose to and approve it, the signed PawnIO driver may be installed — and it only reads. Even so, we cannot make promises on behalf of any anti-cheat vendor.
Can I undo the changes?
Yes. w0a records every registry and power-plan change and lets you revert with one click. Before the first change of each session it also offers to create a system restore point.
How much FPS will I gain?
It depends on your current system configuration. On an already-optimized system the gain may be small; on unoptimized systems it can make a visible difference. w0a makes no magic promises — just honest, reversible improvements.
How do I receive my licence key?
Once payment is complete, your licence key is automatically sent to your email. Open the app and activate it with that key.
Can I try Pro for free?
Yes — 1 day of Pro for joining our Discord. Join the server and type /trial there: the bot answers you alone with a one-time claim code. Paste that code into the app's Settings page and Pro unlocks on that device immediately. The trial is granted once per Discord account and once per device, and accounts younger than 7 days are not eligible.
What exactly does the Lifetime plan mean?
You pay once; no subscription, no renewal, and your licence never expires. "Lifetime" means the life of the software — not a guarantee that the service runs forever. Even if development one day ends, an activated lifetime installation is designed to keep working offline through the signed entitlement record stored on your device. Details in the Terms of Service.
Can I use one key on multiple computers?
Licence keys are personal and bind to the hardware of the device they're activated on. Moving is in your hands: on the bound device, open Settings → License and press "Unbind This Device" — the key can then be activated on the new machine. Until you release the binding, a second device is refused. The limit is 2 releases in any 30 days; past it, the app tells you when you can try again. If the old device no longer starts, contact support and we move the key for you.
Does formatting or reinstalling Windows break my key?
No. The fingerprint the key binds to is derived from the hardware itself — not from Windows — so after a format or reinstall the key re-activates on the same machine by itself. Only on a machine whose firmware carries no usable identity (some virtual machines) does a reinstall change the fingerprint.
Can I get a refund?
Because digital content is delivered instantly, the right of withdrawal ends only once you have given express consent at checkout to delivery starting immediately and acknowledged that you thereby lose it. Even so, if the software does not work as described, write to us — full terms are on the Refund Policy page.
What data do you collect?
What the app sends for licence validation: your licence key, a hardware ID derived from your device, a hardware summary stored once at first activation (Windows version, architecture, computer name, PC manufacturer and model, processor, logical core count, graphics card, motherboard, BIOS, RAM total and modules, screen resolution, uptime and local network IP), and the version and time of the agreement you accepted. Our server itself records your connecting IP address, the country derived from it and a last-seen time, and it receives your email address from the payment provider so your key can be sent. Your personal files, games and browsing history are never collected. Every field and its retention period is listed on the Privacy Policy page.
Windows says it blocked an unrecognised app. Is something wrong?
That is SmartScreen, and it appears for every application whose publisher it has not seen often enough yet — it is a reputation counter, not a verdict about the file. If you downloaded from this site, click "More info" and then "Run anyway". Always compare the SHA-256 digest shown in the download section before running it.
My antivirus flagged it. Why?
Tuning software does the same things some unwanted software does: it runs as administrator, writes registry values and adjusts services. That pattern alone is enough for a heuristic warning, and a signing certificate this new carries no reputation yet, so a fresh release gives a scanner little history to weigh. Every version is signed and scanned before release and false positives are reported to the vendors. If you would rather not add an exception, simply do not run it — and please tell us which product flagged it, on Discord or through the report form if it is shown below.
Does it work on a debloated or custom Windows build?
Usually yes, but with fewer readings. Stripped builds often remove or disable WMI, the Event Log and System Restore, and w0a uses all three: without them some hardware readings show a dash, the stutter scan reports that it cannot read the event log, and restore points cannot be created. w0a is built to say so rather than to pretend everything is fine. If a tweak's service was deleted from the image, the tweak reports that instead of recreating it.
What are the system requirements?
Windows 10 version 1607 (build 14393) or newer, 64-bit, and administrator rights. Windows 11 is fully supported. ARM devices (Snapdragon laptops) are not supported: the parts that read sensors and tune the graphics card have no ARM equivalent, so the app tells you and closes instead of half-working. There is no installer, but deleting the exe is not a complete uninstall. Revert from within the app first, then remove by hand what stays behind: %AppData%\w0a (settings, logs, benchmark results), %ProgramData%\w0a (the revert log), and — only if you switched "Start with Windows" on — the scheduled task together with the copy of the exe the app places in %LocalAppData%\Programs\w0a so that the logon task has a fixed target. The optional PawnIO driver, if you installed it, is removed separately.
