WHAT THE TWEAKS DO

What the tweaks do

Every section: what it changes, the registry path, and how to undo it.

Audio tweaks

Raises audio thread priority, so on a busy PC they are less likely to run late. The buffer and latency are unchanged.

Silent load tweaks

Hidden work Windows starts by itself. Each item turns a switch off or adds a limit; none lowers a Windows buffer or timeout.

Display & graphics tweaks

Display-driver timeout back to the Windows default; window and taskbar animations off. The frame-rate effect has not been measured.

Mouse & keyboard tweaks

Larger input queues, a shorter freeze on a hung input hook, a shorter key-repeat delay. None makes a click arrive sooner.

Memory tweaks

Shared svchost processes for Windows services: less memory, but one crash can take down several and Task Manager loses per-service figures.

Network tweaks

What each box on the Internet page writes, what it leaves alone, and which of them can change a match — most cannot, and the page says so.

Startup & background tweaks

Background work after sign-in or while you play, and restarts mid-match. Turning fast startup off makes boot slower.
